On Friday, Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani condemned attacks on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport.

“Attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure are unacceptable,” KRG Prime Minister Barzani said.

“My condolences to the victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with the people and leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

In September, the KRG Department of Foreign Relations condemned the attacks targeting cities and economic facilities in several cities in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia also condemned the August 17 drone attack on the KRG Prime Minister’s office.
