On Thursday, Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received a phone call from Iraqi Parliament Speaker Haibat al-Halbousi, in which al-Halbousi condemned the drone attack on Prime Minister Barzani’s private office and the home of the director of the KRG Security Council.
During the call, al-Halbousi expressed his condemnation of the drone attack, while reaffirming his support for everything that will safeguard the security and stability of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
For his part, Prime Minister Barzani expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Parliament Speaker for his call and support.On Monday, two drones launched from Iran targeted Prime Minister Barzani’s private office and the home of the director of the KRG Security Council.

On Tuesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi condemned the attack in a phone call with KRG Prime Minister Barzani, and ordered the formation of a committee to investigate the attack.
