The Afrin office of the Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) on Sunday has started to distribute winter clothing to displaced Kurdish families who escaped the fighting between Kurdish forces and Syrian government forces in Aleppo.
The BCF said that they are providing support to those staying at the al-Sharif Mosque in the city center of Afrin.
“Following the attacks carried out on the city of Aleppo, more than 22,000 displaced families, exceeding 110,000 individuals, have sought refuge in the villages and towns surrounding Afrin,” the BCF said in a post.
“The teams of the BCF continue to support them by providing food assistance, heating supplies, and medical services.”
