The German charitable organization Wings of Help on Friday awarded Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) President Musa Ahmed with the Wings Of Help award for his contribution and the assistance BCF has provided to refugees and other vulnerable people in the Kurdistan Region and beyond.
“The award is a prestigious prize that Wing of Help grants every two years to individuals with notable accomplishments in humanitarian fields. The organization chose Ahmed to recognize the contributions made by BCF staff and volunteers over the past decade,” Awat Mustafa, a board member of the BCF, told Kurdistan Chronicle.

“Wing of Help has been a valuable and consistent partner of BCF for the past 11 years. The organization has made a difference in education in the refugee camps by providing laptops for children and has offered essential support during the refugee influx between 2014 and 2017,” he added.
Mustafa explained that the BCF has established a reputation in Europe, North America, and the Middle East as a reliable, effective, and transparent partner organization in Iraq for humanitarian assistance projects.

The BCF was established in 2005, with the aim to provide assistance to vulnerable groups, such as orphans, widows, and people affected by natural disasters.
