Ali Baloyev, the Kurdish boxer from Kazakhstan (13-2-1, 8 KOs), faced Chinese boxer Nurlan Ozat (16-3-2, 13 KOs) in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Ozat had previously held the WBC and WBO Youth Champion titles.

The match took place in the junior heavyweight division, and it was decided that the fight would continue for the full scheduled rounds. Baloyev secured victory by unanimous decision from the judges. In the second round, he knocked Ozat down, and in the sixth round, Baloyev had a point deducted. Additionally, in the eighth round, Ozat suffered a severe cut and heavy bleeding.

With this victory, Ali Baloyev achieved his 14th professional career win, while Nurlan Ozat suffered his fourth defeat.

In the main event of the evening in Astana, Ali Akhmedov (23-1, 17 KOs) is set to fight Polish boxer Maciej Sulecki (32-3, 12 KOs) for the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight title.

Ali Baloyev was born on February 27, 1993, in Kok-Jangak, Kyrgyzstan. He currently resides in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Las Vegas, USA and competes in the junior heavyweight division (90.7 kg).

Baloyev is ranked among the top 40 cruiserweight boxers in the world according to BoxRec.
