The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Ministry of Interior in a statement on Thursday denied certain false rumors and misinformation regarding changes in visa procedures.

“The Visa Directorate at the Ministry of Interior confirms that these claims are untrue and have no basis,” the KRG Ministry of Interior said.

“Visitors and travelers can continue to apply for a Kurdistan visa as usual through the Visit Portal (www.visit.gov.krd) or by submitting a special request. Additionally, citizens of countries on List A can still obtain a visa upon arrival at airports and international border crossings, as before.”
