The Kurdish Film Days in Munich, Germany, organized by the Kurdish Community of Munich, will be held from June 13-16.
The festival will showcase films by Kurdish directors that focus on the situation of Kurds in their countries of origin and in the diaspora.
The program usually consists of feature films in their original language with German or English subtitles.
“The Kurdish Film Days Munich 2024 offer a diverse selection of films that capture the cultural diversity and current issues of the Kurdish community,” Chairman of the Kurdish Community of Munich Kamiran Issa posted on X.
“From moving dramas to gripping documentaries – experience the stories and challenges of the Kurdish people.”

The festival will include feature films, short films, and documentaries.
For more than 20 years, several Kurdish film festivals have been organized across Kurdistan – in Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria – as well as in the United States, Europe, and the UK, with annual film festivals held in Duhok and Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan Region.
