The 16th Erbil International Book Fair is being held at the Erbil International Fairgrounds from April 17-27 between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm at the Erbil International Fairground in Sami Abdulrahman Park.

The book fair boasts approximately 300 publishers hailing from 22 different countries and showcases an extensive array of 1.5 million books. It is organized by the Kurdistan Regional Government Ministry of Culture and Youth and the Al-Mada Publishing House.

In addition to publisher’s stands, the book fair encompasses seminars and workshops. The Kurdistan Chronicle magazine is also available at the fair.

Kurdistan Democratic Party President Masoud Barzani inaugurated the fair on April 17, 2024, in the presence of journalists, foreign diplomats, and intellectuals.

The theme of this year’s Erbil International Book Fair, “Read…Your Intelligence is Not Artificial,” underscores the value of human intellect.
