Last night, a drone crashed in an uninhabited desert area near Erbil after it was shot down. The Ministry of Interior said that “such attacks are sometimes carried out by groups affiliated with the PMF.”
Moreover, the KRG Ministry of Interior added that some official electronic media outlets in Iran “reported that a drone allegedly targeted an Israeli-affiliated base in Erbil last night.
“All of these reports are false and far from the truth. There is no Israeli base in Kurdistan, and no such operation has taken place.”
In recent days, there has been an increase in drone attacks and drone crashes in both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
