Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Thursday expressed his sadness over the recent plane crash in Ahmedabad, India.
On Thursday, an Air India plane on its way to London crashed with 242 passengers on departure at an airport in India’s western city of Ahmedabad, with only one passenger surviving the crash.
“At this difficult time, my thoughts are with the victims, their families and the people of India and other nations affected by the crash,” Prime Minister Barzani posted on X.
“The tragedy in Ahmedabad has stunned and saddened us. It is heartbreaking beyond words,” India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on X.
“In this sad hour, my thoughts are with everyone affected by it. Have been in touch with Ministers and authorities who are working to assist those affected.”
