On March 22, 2025, the Kurdistan Medical and Scientific Federation (KMSF) in the UK hosted a special party at the Hilton London Syon Park Hotel to celebrate Newroz, the Kurdish New Year. The event was attended by numerous members of the Kurdish community, who came together to celebrate the holiday, which symbolizes renewal and togetherness.

Tara Tofec, a KMSF member and event organizer, expressed her pride in the event. “I am proud to say that it was a night filled with joy, unity, and generosity.”

As Tofec emphasized, the event was not only about celebrating with friends, family, and colleagues, but also about giving back. It was a charity event, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting cancer patients in theKurdistan Region by providing essential treatments and medication.

One of the highlights of the evening was a captivating performance by renowned Kurdish singer Harde Osman Ali, who traveled from Kurdistan to join the celebration and was accompanied by the talented musician Dashty Satar. Tofec noted that their heartfelt music created an unforgettable atmosphere that brought warmth and joy to all in attendance.

In addition to the music and festivities, the fundraising campaign reinforced the organization’s commitment to helping those in need. “Seeing our community come together for such a meaningful cause was truly inspiring,” Tofec remarked.
