The Kurdistan in America podcast, the official podcast of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Representation in the United States, has carved out its own influential space, ranking 39th among the top 100 Middle East podcasts on the Podcast Media Database’s Million Podcasts.

The podcast was also named by Welp Magazine as one of the 20 best government relations podcasts of 2021.

“I am humbled that my podcast has made it into the Top 100 Middle East podcasts. This is especially significant because, according to Million Podcasts, we were selected from thousands, competing against heavyweights like Fareed Zakaria GPS, BBC Newshour, PBS NewsHour World, Haaretz Weekly, and BBC Radio 4’s The World Tonight,” said Delovan Barwari, who hosts and produces the podcast.

“These major institutions have full teams, including hosts, producers, editors, and fact-checkers, all working together to create high-quality content. I, on the other hand, took on the roles of host, producer, editor, and publisher of Kurdistan in America, managing it as one of my many responsibilities at the KRG Representation. So, I am thrilled that this effort has resonated so deeply, and ranking 39th demonstrates that our podcast has built a strong and engaged audience across the globe.”
