Top Kurdish leaders on Thursday expressed their condolences to the loved ones of the victims of the plane and helicopter crash near Washington, D.C in the United States that left 67 dead.

Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani also underlined that he was deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash in Washington, D.C. “My heartfelt condolences go out to the families and loved ones affected by this devastating incident,” he stated.

On Wednesday evening a civilian plane collided with a U.S. Army helicopter near Washington D.C., killing at least 67 people.
